Kids Compete for Cash and Publicity in Sacramento Kids Art Contest

(PRWEB) May 23, 2007 --Sacramento based window replacement company Halls Window Center has announced that it will organize an art contest where kids are the stars. The winning child will have his or her artwork featured on an upcoming Fourth of July mailer and receive $100 in cash to spend wherever and however their hearts desire.

To qualify for the contest, kids should submit original Fourth of July themed artwork combined with a catchy Forth of July slogan. Bob Grandinetti, owner of Halls Window Center says that the sky is the limit in terms of creativity and that the only boundary is that kids allow space to include the Halls Window Center logo below the image.

"We designed this promotion to show our customers how much we appreciate them. We are a very family-focused company and enamored by the boundless creativity of children. We wanted to find a way to reward our young community artists," says Grandinetti.

Children who would like to enter the contest can follow these guidelines to ensure that their submissions are eligible for entry:

·    Use a 5.5 inch wide and 4.5 inch tall piece of paper
·    Create with colored pencils, paint, or crayons (no computer graphics)
·    Include a catchy Forth of July slogan
·    Allow room for the Halls Window Center logo at the bottom
·    Submit entries to Halls Window Center by June 1, 2007
·    Be creative!

Contestants need not be from the Sacramento area to participate. Entries can be submitted in person to the Halls Window Center showroom, or mailed to the address found on the company's website, located at http://www.hallswindowcenter.com.

Halls Window Center has become a fixture in the Sacramento community over the past 20 years by continuously providing high quality products to beautify Sacramento homes and by promoting health and well-being within the community. "The people of Sacramento are not only our customers; they are also our family, friends, and neighbors. We feel an enormous sense or respect and gratitude toward this community and it's our pleasure to lend a hand in making it a more beautiful, family-focused place to live," says Grandinetti.
