(PRWeb) March 14, 2007 -- Skillya, a developer of casual web games, launched www.karambula.com, a site where players can participate free of charge in p2p cash rewarding tournaments.

After filling a short registration form and getting first amount of fun money, the player can participate in any of the open tournaments, three of which will reward the winner with $500. Every week the rewards will shift to different games.

In the coming months Skillya will increase the awards and the number of awarding tournaments.

The large variety of games includes versions of Solitaire, Mahjong, Pool and Backgammon. Many other games are available, some of which are unique Skillya developments such as Jumping Clowns (a unique sound memory quiz) and Opposite Mahjong. All the games are based on flash technology, which eliminates the requirement to download any software components to the local computer. A lot of effort and considerations were taken during games design in order to give the participants an exceptional sense of quality.

www.karambula.com includes significant community features such as internal messaging, private tournament zones which allow players to compete against members of pre-selected list, personal players zones and more.

Skillya developed a unique algorithm which optimally matches opponents of similar level.

www.karambula.com has multi-lingual interfaces. After the site launching is completed, 17 different language interfaces will be available.
